Whoever hears Coilguns from La Chaux-de-Fonds for the first time might think they are dealing with a band from far up north in Norway. The intense anxiety you feel when listening to the mathcore band is powerful and soothing at the same time. Elements of black metal, post-hardcore and sludge can also be found in the sound of the Western Switzerland based band. Coilguns are currently working on a new studio album and follow-up to 2019's “Watchwinders”.
