Attention Secondary Ticket Market!

We highly recommend buying tickets ONLY via official, authorized pre-sellers (www.ticketcorner.ch).

Professional and private re-sellers have found a profitable business in buying tickets on the official pre-sale and re-sell those tickets with high price premiums. Acts, organizers and the audience get damaged equally through this secondary ticket market.

To be protected from overpriced tickets as well as fake tickets, we again highly recommend to buy tickets only via the official, authorized pre-sellers and to never buy on websites of so called secondary-ticket market platforms such as Alltickets, Viagogo, Onlineticketsshop, Worldticketshop, Vienna Ticketoffice, Ticketbande, Ebay, Ricardo and many more.

More information on this topic is available (German & French) on the Website of the Swiss Music Promoters Association (SMPA).

Burning Hand

It all began with an idea and some hand-drawn sketches. The mission: The Greenfield Festival wanted to create a bonfire with the outlook of the metal sign.

Based on the sketches, a 3D model was formed to give the creators the opportunity to build that huge hand as accurate as possible. On the festivalground a solid base is formed with trunks. Spacer-grids and crossbars that form the well-known metal sign are then placed upon the base. In the end, there´s a gigantic hand of 8m in height and a perimeter of 5m (as a comparison: The „Böögg“ at the „Sechseläuten in Zurich is 3,4m in height).

As a spectacular ending to the Greenfield Festival, the metal sign will be set on fire by the fans – becoming the „burning hand“, a symbol for the fiery hearts of all rock-, punk- and metal-fans.

You enter a fiery scene from another world, where inhabitants roam around in the most adventurous garments. Between rusty car wrecks and old shipping containers, you can have fun gambling and measure your strength against the Wastelanders - if you dare. Some people become part of the end times themselves and get dressed up as a real raider in the warpainting tent to bicker, bet and celebrate and - with a radioactive drink in hand - toast the end of all days.

The Chapel

THE CHAPEL - The Greenfield Festival Chapel of Metalchurch: hard music - strong message.

This metallic room of silence is ecumenically open to all who are looking for a place to gather and find inner peace. The tent chapel is decorated with a beer can cross on the outside. Inside, candles can be lit (due to fire regulations, they use electric LED candles) and there is a book for written prayers, greetings and drawings. The chapel will be attended by a person from Metalchurch in black monk's robe, who will say a "Blessing to go!" for you on request, an individual blessing for you, you as a couple or as a group. After the end of the headliner concerts, the bells will ring for the "Midnight Metal Mediation", a short service of about a quarter of an hour with the metal priest at the end of the day at 01:30.

THE CHAPEL is open daily from 10:00 to 02:00 and is located right next to Shelter 666, vis-à-vis the AnsprechBar, the festival chaplaincy of Metalchurch, where you will always find a sympathetic ear - no matter if you are in the mood or out of tune.
