The root of the band's cause is in the name - unpeople - meaning a group of people considered to be politically unimportant or of no value. The band members are determined to channel their discontent into songs that speak directly to other ‘unpeople’. The 4-piece band is on a mission to combine earnest lyricism and hefty riffs with catchy melodies and luscious harmonies. unpeople started their career with a bang: In April 2024, they released their first, self-titled EP, and in the same year they supported Metallica and Five Finger Death Punch in Vienna. Their debut London headline show at the end of 2024 sold out in just a day. The British band is the new spearhead of metal and brings an incredible, intense energy.
